About Jason
Described by many as a "Gentle Giant", Jason was raised in Adams, New York and attended Belleville-Henderson Central School prior to obtaining Computer Science degrees from SUNY Jefferson (AS), SUNY Utica/Rome (BS) and RPI Hartford (MS). At the time of his passing, Jason was employed by Cigna as an IT Principal Director and resided in East Granby, Connecticut with his wife and fur baby (his girls). Jason was a pitcher throughout high school and all four years of college. He was a true sportsman and avid Atlanta Braves fan. He was kind. He was intelligent. He was generous. He LOVED his family and he LOVED Marvel- especially the Hulk. Jason was a role model to many and a friend to all.
Our Mission
The Jason Scofield Memorial Fund was established to honor the values of Jason Scofield including his commitment to community and his love of learning.
Scholarships from the Jason Scofield Memorial Fund shall support post-secondary education to graduating seniors seeking to enter field(s) of science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics (STEM).

You are welcome to fill out an application for the Jason Scofield Memorial Scholarship if you fulfill all of the following:
Are currently enrolled in your senior year of High School preparing to attend an Institute of Higher Education
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA or B average
Are involved in extra-curricular activities
Pursuing a STEM degree
